Information on door seals
Slight deformations of the door seal are a normal phenomenon which does not affect its operation.
We recommend that you correct the door seal before installing it in the appliance.
To do this, heat the door seal with a hair dryer or hot water, then change its shape manually.
The thickness of the new door seal may deviate slightly from the thickness of the old door seal.
This has no effect on the closing behaviour and long-term operation.
If your device has adjustable hinges or hinge mounts, you can optimize the closing behavior retrospectively.
The small side holes in the door seal are necessary for its operation (air exhaust).
These are not manufacturing defects.
